In order to begin using your new Internet Access
service, you will need a new dial-up connection on your
computer. Follow these instructions and you will be ready to go on the Internet.
A wizard will come up, it will ask for a name. Enter DailyPost.com. Click Next.
Enter 882-4800 for telephone number, click Next, then Finish.
Now there will be an icon labeled DailyPost.com. Right-click this new icon and choose Properties.
Click on Server Types tab.
Check Enable Software Compression and TCP/IP (if they are not already checked). Remove all other checkmarks.
Click OK.
Close Dialup Networking and My Computer.
Click Start, Settings, Control Panel.
Double-click the Internet Options icon.
Change the Homepage address to http://www.dailypost.com.
Click on the Connections tab.
If there is more than just DailyPost.com in the list of connections, remove the extra connections by clicking the
connection and clicking Remove.
Make sure Always dial my default connection is selected. If it is not, select it.
Click OK.
Close out of all open windows. To access Internet, simply double-click the blue Internet Explorer icon. A prompt
will appear asking for username and password. Enter the username and password you chose when you signed up.
Microsoft Windows Me
Click Start, Settings, Dialup Networking.
Click Make New Connection.
A wizard will come up, it will ask for a name. Enter DailyPost.com. Click Next.
Enter 882-4800 for telephone number, click Next, then Finish.

Click Start, Control Panel.
Double-Click Network Internet Connections.
Choose Setup or Change Internet Connection.
Click Setup.
The Wizard will start. Click Next.
Choose Connect to the Internet. Click Next.
Choose Setup My Connection Manually. Click Next.
Choose Connect Using a Dialup Modem. Click Next.
Enter ISP Name as DailyPost.com. Click Next.
Enter Phone number as 882-4800. Click Next.
Enter your username and password you chose when you signed up. Also enter the password into the confirm password field.
Leave checkmarks in the options below confirm password. Click Next.
If you want, you can add a DailyPost.com icon to the desktop by choosing “Add a shortcut to ths
connection to my desktop. Click Finish.
Now double-click Internet Options.
Change the Homepage address to http://www.dailypost.com.
Click on the Connections tab.

connection and clicking Remove.

Click OK.

In your E-Mail program, server settings should be:
SMTP Mail Server = mail.dailypost.com
POP3 Mail Server = mail.dailypost.com
Cancelling your old ISP's Service:
You should cancel your old Internet Access service with your previous provider; DailyPost.com cannot do this for you.
Do not cancel your old service until you are satisfied with your new DailyPost.com service. Usually a phone call to
your old provider will be sufficient to order your old service cancelled.
